Christine and Jim will be looking for other instructors - and other subjects as well - in visual, literary, performing arts, etc. We are also considering renting our small and larger spaces as well. More on this later! STATEMENT As an Ecologist, Christine attempts to leave a small footprint on the Earth. She supports the mission of The Center for Biological Diversity. Reading from their site: "The Center for Biological Diversity works through science, law and creative media to secure a future for all species, great or small, hovering on the brink of extinction." To learn more about the great work CBD does, please visit their site: www.biologicaldiversity.org. On the local level, the Glen Helen Nature Preserve is a fine environmental organization the Klingers believe in and support. Established (and formerly owned and maintained) by Antioch College in 1929, the 1,000-acre nature preserve is in the heart of Yellow Springs. It is now owned and maintained by the non-profit Glen Helen Association. To learn more about this wonderful place and the people who care for it, please visit www.glenhelen.org. |
