STUDIO/GALLERY
The Klingers have many ideas on where KLINGER STUDIO at Nine Pines may take them—and you. As both Jim and Christine are artists and educators, they are creating both studios and galleries. There is a large barn for performing arts, and a smaller building which is now a studio and gallery. Both buildings can be used for many purposes.
The STUDIO and GALLERY Is starting to host art classes and workshops – in visual, media, literary and performing arts, etc. We may also rent our spaces to groups or individuals for their events, classes, and meetings, etc. When Christine ran a retail gallery in King's Yard in Yellow Springs awhile back - Springs Gallery - she hosted several art classes and workshops. "We've also had a few out here at KLINGER STUDIO at Nine Pines over the years. So far, we've hosted a jewelry workshop, a sculpture class, a creative writing group, and musical jams and rehearsals; and more activities are in the works. There is much to do in preparation for any official opening but we promise to keep you posted on our plans and activities on here, our blogs, facebook, etc. For more on The Studio - to see more of Christine's work and to see what we have done so far and possibilities for the future - you can visit our blogs at www.thestudio-ys.blogspot.com, www.cklingerstudio.blogspot.com and www.klingerstudios.blogspot.com. Christine and Jim are on the lookout for other instructors and other subjects as well - in visual, literary, media, performing arts, etc. If you have ideas for classes or for 1 or 2-day workshops you'd like to take - or teach - you may contact us from this site on the CONTACT US page. And, of course, you can visit us here when we're up and running. But remember - we will only be open for events. And, of course, life can always change. But we’ll figure it out as we go - and let you know! First class offering --
